Good grief! It’s been nearly a year since I last posted here. Seriously. Life has been insane…shall we just say I was abducted by aliens and repeatedly probed and leave it at that? (actually, being abducted would involve a little peace and quiet presumably, so potentially not all bad. Abduct me and my studio…let’s talk!)
I’ve missed this space and my thinking about what to write in this space (though the thinking always far outpaced the actual writing), and keeping a wee journal of my making. So I’m going to start again…no promises as to how much or how often, because the day job is still sucking the lifeblood out of me, and kids and hubbies and life makes for a very full world, but let’s see how we go!
In other news, my new studio is unpacked enough for the machine to be plugged in, and I have just about got a finished quilt top up on the design wall. Making again feels so very good after a few months - I feel like I could breath properly again. Oh yeah, we moved. Again. You know, just for a change, ha! (Irony – you have the rental you’re in looking so nice the landlord decides they’re going to move in. Ahem) So, anyone care to take the bet that we’ll be completely unpacked and have artwork hung by Christmas? Anyone? No, I don’t blame you…D and I aren’t game to take that one either, ha!
