...they're kid friendly too! (a starched cotton napkin and the most basic of origami skills = an extra 4.5 minutes of quiet children during grown up speeches!)
Last weekend Cole, Imogen and I went across to Tauranga to help celebrate my grandmum's 80th birthday (that's her in the pink...Immy was so impressed with Grandmum's taste!) They were the only kids there (bar 2 cousins in the nearly-10yo-range) and in my haste to get us there not-too-frightfully-late, I forgot their art books and pencils. Oops, so much for that plan. All things considered, they did pretty well, although Cole whispered to me towards the end: "mama, this party is pretty boring, should I go and tell Granddad Don (my dad) that we need some balloons?" lol. Thankfully the cake was cut soon after!
The kids and their beloved Granddad Don - he makes their eyes light up when they see him.
Family is just a little bit lovely!
Great pictures! Goodness, Immy is beautiful!
