Nah, I wouldn't either! Truth be told, things have been insanely busy and - whilst I've thought about this wee blog many times, and even drafted up posts in my head - time for sitting down at the laptop has been terribly elusive lately. We're just about over the craziest of crazies, and I am excited to get back here in the next day or so to resume nattering. I have so much news to share. I might even have a(n old) photo or two of craftiness to share...things have been nuts enough that weeks have gone by with my only visits to the studio being for using ironing. And clothes ironing at that (oh the horror!!!)
I'm happy (thrilled! delighted! ecstatic!) to report that others in the house have begun their journey of making with textiles. This photo just melts my heart. My favourite part of the image - not the delicious hand-drawn design of hers, nor the ferocious look of determination...it's the fact that this photo was taken a whole 90 seconds after we had finished eating dinner outside (pasta, from the looks of it!) when inspiration struck and Immy had to get back to stitching, immediatement! Yep, that's my girl!
Hearts or butterflies? Nice to hear from you again!

So sweet! She's better than me already.
And I'm glad to see you haven't fallen off the face of the earth. ;)
