A lovely friend is up in Auckland for the weekend for laser surgery on her eyes. It's all very exciting - and a little nerve wracking too! So... I thought a little fist-sized something to squeeze whilst her eyelids were taped open might lessen the drama. Or something. It's filled half with stuffing, and the rest with dried lavender, because smelling dried flowers is going to make the whole thing pleasant.

Enter this wee creature - though it occurred to me as I was on my way to give it to her that a gift of a blind rabbit to someone about to have lasers let loose on exposed eyeballs possibly wasn't the most thoughtful thing. Luckily she saw the humour in it...or at least was kind enough to play along!
