Cole, Imogen and I made some little treats for their friends at Montessori to celebrate Easter. I saw the original idea on Martha Stewart, but I think it's safe to say we are definitely at our own creation now...no fear whatsoever of getting the 2 confused, lol! Using wrapped chocolate marshmallow eggs meant we could glue on the eyes, ears, whiskers, pompom tail and button nose, and also made things a little more durable. The kids did most of it, including colouring in the batting ears (some bunnies look like they got a bit too close to the chainsaw, or are gangrenous. It's festive. or disturbing. lol) I did my best to sit on my hands near the glue as much as possible.
(haircuts are booked, poor boy!) They were so excited to take them in to school this morning...until Cole had a terrible thought: "mama, what happens if there are so many friends at school that there are no bunnies left for Immy and for me?* I was quick to assure him we had enough bunnies for all their friends, the teachers and the Campbell contingency. Phew!
(is it just me, or do some of these bunnies look like Groucho Marx on hallucinogens?)
