In the shade, perched on a rock with most access to the gentle sea breeze, this is what I did at the beach today between swims, whilst the kids worked on redistributing all the sand within 100 metres of us. (For the record, this is a before shot...I promise I achieved stitches and inches!)

Thanks to SouleMama for the idea of taking knitting to the beach...for all the sand between my toes over the last 2+ years, it had never occurred to me! This only works here for 2 months of the year - and only then on the cooler days - but on those days, it's lovely to be creating outdoors!
