…from our halfway-round-the-world trip, and we’re settling back into island life. A little slowly, thanks to a really nasty bug that knocked us on our collective rears for over a week. Eeew!
The little munchkins are back to their happy energetic selves now, and we’re even finding our appetites again, which makes mealtimes and actually getting our little ones to ingest something a little more entertaining and varied and a little less stressful erm, interesting!
…and I know I’m getting better because I am like a cat on the proverbial warmed roof in search of something to do to sate my crafty appetite…and just can’t seem to settle on anything. Of course, I have come up with what seems like eleventy bajillion projects that would be ideal…if only I had the magical combination of a working sewing machine and some sewing machine needles. I currently have neither, and am impatiently waiting until a large ship docks in Victoria Harbour in another 4 to 6 weeks’ time, complete with a snazzy new sewing machine (and loads of needles!)
In the meantime, the hunt for the perfect piece of handwork continues….thank goodness for my helpers, ever-willing to help in mama's quest!
